Dunno about your workplace, but I tend to meet with people that are employed in the jobs I need to meet with, not dudes that were in the jobs some years before.

Trump should get GW Bush jnr’s opinion.
Maybe we could ask Ruddy what to do.

Actually, we have had lectures from retired practitioners.

It’s not like it was just one raving lunatic that wanted to talk to him either, it was a large group of them with a pretty serious warning. It’s not like these people aren’t reputable.

Why do you totally disregard the fact that he took the advice of the current people in charge?

just because you miss out this time you cry poor. It’s pathetic.

Still blaming scomo for a freaking drought and bushfire decades in the making?

if labour were in charge there would be no difference.

I can admit that.... can you?

so what you’re saying is that nothing can be done to mitigate the effects.

Interesting take.

No
What I’m saying is no matter who was in charge we’d still have had droughts, fires and Coronavirus.
On the other hand
You blokes are blaming scomo and his gov for it all.
You don’t have the balls to admit the truth.
The truth is it would’ve happened anyway.
Labour , liberal , nationals , greens , one nation..whoever.

It’s idiotic to claim this stuff does just suddenly starts happening once the bloke you don’t like gets in power.
That is exactly what you dopes are trying to claim.

If the handling makes no difference then why can’t you just let us have our chosen incompetent government?

why do you back this guy so hard if he isn’t actually expected to do.... anything.

That is not what we are trying to claim at all. What we are claiming is that it’s possible to mitigate the damage of disasters with good foresight, planning and action.

If Scomo had have acknowledged that we were in an unprecedented bushfire season then maybe he would have met with a group that could provide some guidance. He didn’t think that it was a priority. Therefore he did not acknowledge that there was a danger, despite the overwhelming evidence at hand.

This is a failure of judgment.

You were just telling us it was inevitable. Now we could have never known.

Ha

Good one.

I’m not claiming any of them would’ve done anything ...
You seem to think there was going to be a Labour Party weather miracle.
Bwhahaha
FFS wake up.

You crap on about foresight
Mate
Why the f**k would anyone in their right mind back the Labour Party?
They didn’t have the foresight to see the chump they offered up as leader was going to get his arse handed to him by a raving mad bible bashing loony in the election.

absolute losers.

I agree he seems completely underwhelming.

But he must have been some kind of Nostradamus to foresee the unforeseeable fire season.

His foresight here is so f**king good that I’m starting wonder if he is some kind of Christ figure. Don’t forget this was totally unpredictable at the time of publishing. If he’s not a god, I’m not sure there is one.

Based on this alone, I want to elect him King for the next 47 years.
