Scott Hill will be holding talks with Melbourne Storm officials again tomorrow to discuss his future and hopefully secure it with the Melbourne club before June 30. He will be an important signing for the Victorian club.

The condition of Scott visditing other clubs while he was injured was that he would give the club an answer before he returns from injury. His decision will be made tomorrow and if he signs with Melbourne, some sort of contract will be signed.

I really hope they can keep him. Already this week Billy Slater knocked them back on a long term contract.

I wouldn't put it past the Roosters but the Broncos will no doubt put in a bid for his services. This is where I support salary cap exemptions for Melbourne. Its hard to keep these young QLD talents down in Melbourne.

LOL, I hope he stays in a Storm jersey. I don't blame him though for knocking back a long term deal. Hes only young and he knows hes got a huge future ahead of him.

Let's hope Slater does stay in a Storm jumper, and if he leaves, I'd like to see hime at a club like North Queensland or Souths or Wests, rather then Brisbane, or the roosters or MANLY!!!

Why would you rather see him at a club where he won’t live up to his potential. I hope it isn’t a case of sour grapes, coz he hasn’t left and probably won’t

I just get sick of clubs like the roosters and Manly signing all of these players. Souths are still trying to build a decent roster, and it will take a while. North Queensland have improved out of sight this year, and he'd slot right in. Whos knows?? Maybe souths just needs a few players like Slater to turn their status as an NRL club around.

WHAT, Your sick of manly signing these players, your kidding me right, have a look at our team, and tell me how many top quality players (whilst in form) we have taken from other teams in the last 4 years, I bet it is between 1-3.

I wish we'd approach Slater. He'd be cheaper than Vagana and better than Scott Hill. I really hope you DO keep Hill, I'd rather Slater thankyou!

Hey Quimby, I was mainly referring to the roosters, but i whacked manly in there because they're a perfect example of that happenin. Ive said it before and ill say it again. Remember the days they used to buy premierships???

all in the past, if you didn’t realise that. Canberra have done some pretty nice buying from Parramatta over the last few years to get in the spot they are now!

Yeah, at least they did it within the salary cap. Remember back in the mid 90's when Parramatta took half the Canterbury side??
