Of course there are bandwagon jumpers with every club, and Penrith have their share too, but I would rather have them there.....than not.
It's all $ profit for your club which (like it or not) they all need, and a large crowd makes for one helluva lot better atmosphere than a small one.
And a large crowd cheering is going to have a lot more influence to fire up your team up for a win in a really close game than a small one too.
I'm sure the players would much rather have had the nearly 20,000 screaming fans (diehard or not) at Penrith yesterday to help them to get over the line, rather than 8,000 diehard ones which would have made for a lot less atmosphere and a whole lot less noise.
And I won't bother telling you any platitudes about how your team will turn it around eventually, so just be patient, and I know how you feel because I've been there.
It's all a load of crap, and I remember how annoying it was when other fans used to do it to us. We appreciated them making the effort to try to make us feel better, but it doesn't work..........nothing does.
Suffice to say I do know how you feel, so I say you all go ahead and vent your frustration as much as you like..........because it's the only thing that's going to get you through so that you're still around for when the good times return.
