It's good to see the red and white scum got their first points of the new campaign when they rallied late to scrape past Wakefield 14-9. Fullback Ben Cockayne scored a leate winner as the Robins looked to be going down to a one point defeat. ;-)

If they can get another few results like that you might have to deal with them staying up for another season, dp...?

good on em. why are they resented by so many pom league fans tho? They seem to have a bit of fight in them, as their challenge cup effort last year showed, and their fans seem loyal and passionate, wat's not to like?

I think you'll find it's just a Hull thing, ie Hull FC v Hull KR rivalry? Two teams in the one town, all good banter.

Kind of like St Geroge v Cronulla calling each other the scum, Liverpool v Everton etc...

A lot of Cas fans might have reason to begrudge them their shot, given that Cas went so close to staying up? Other than that I'm not aware of any overlying dislike of KR.

It's because a trip the Craven Park is like a trip back in time, along the lines of going to Hilton Park. The two worst grounds in the UK for away fans. I've not been to Craven Park, but I've been to Hull to watch City and it's not a nice expirience...
My fellow Hornets fans are glad that they don't have to make the long trip to 'ull this year!

Some of the City "fans" can be a bit hostile at the KC but we Hull F.C. Fans are a lovely bunch. The prob with Rovers's fans is they live in the past. No doubt we'll be hearing Old faithful you've never won at Wembley at the first derby match. Get over it boys and girls , it was twenty sven years ago. I console myself with the fact that as every year passes some of the Rovers's fans who were there in 1980 will now have died and there are less of them who actually remember it

I never wished anyone dead. Death is inevitable, even to those who have retired to Spain. I just pointed out that as every year passes there are less and less Rovers fans who actually attended the game left.
