That is a recent addition. They have certainly not been legal for the entire time the thoroughbreds have been "assisting". Under the current model, they are legal if they are declared to the NRL.

Thinset plaster should be a safe bet.

Depends on the severity of the separation and if any cracking has occured

Yes...put a couple of screws in it and them paint over them...problem solved.

Be careful when you screw it in though as you do want to damage the plaster.
