I can believe that this Guy got the wistle for SOO2.
Its a joke.
He gave up and them Stupid penaltys and made many bad decisions.
the most notable the penaltys against Kimmorley for the "apparant" head high which was simply a fair attack at the ball, trying to dislodge it from one of the Broncos and the one against Lockyer for a strip on bailey when there was only him in the tackle.
No way does this guy deserve to be SOO ref.

the best ref in this season has been Steve Lyons. he is consistent with his decisions and fair. Although he has been in the middle of some controvercys like the Souths-Tigers golden pointer and us and Parametter when bailey scored that try after he called held just befor the ball came loose

the worst bit about that kimmorley high tackle joke penalty was that when kimmorley asked him about it, bean went to say why he penalised him but realised he had nothing so he told him to go away

you cant say that to a captain asking a legitimate question!!

Lyons was lucky to keep his spot in first grade.
A few in the media (sunday afternoon radio station and NRL Scoreboard in particular) were calling for his head after the Warriors guys failed to get sent on the weekend. (lost a touch of control in their opinion).
The other side of the coin is Simpkins sent somebody off. You cant win if your a ref.
Mander(although he is a Qlder) for some reason isnt popular up north (Hadley alluded to that 2 weeks ago after the first origin).
I think Hampstead has got there on politics not refereeing ability but I might be a conspiracy theorist.
