Guys,
I'm starting to get that familiar feeling again where i am bored out of my head with no footy except the occaisonal game of union (hardly a substitute) and football/soccer to keep me going.
stoked
* I'm really stoked we have lyon in the squad. this guy will be dally m material.
* I'm stoked at kite's season in 2006. we need more from him next season.
* Matai - this guy is the goods. he'll be awesome as a forward. with a couple of extra kilos, this guy will be a pole-axe to be reckoned with.
* goergie rose - i love this bloke. hopefully he'll drop a few kilos in the off season and become a starting prop. i love watching him make his barging runs! his defence needs some work but he'll be another who i think will step up in 2007. he really reminds me of david lyons (the warratahs forward) who is about the only union big unit i know of who can step.
worried
* no bk. we relied on this guy heavily to pull our @sses out of the fire on many an occaision. with our tendency to be a second half team (at brookie especially), not having an inspirational bloke like him will hurt. choc or kite are going to have to really step up.
* depth in the pack. around the middle of 2006 we had a couple of regulars out, and we had a pretty hard time of it. with the young fellas coming through i'm a little less worried, but i just remember cringing many a time at how soft we were then.
ho hum
* monday night football - whoever thought of this should be shot!
well, that's my rant. thanks for listening.
