Season 2010. Theres lots to look forward to

I cant wait. After all the build up, the stories written and now its just a week away. As tigers fans, there is so much to look forward to. The draw has been kind to us and with the signings we finally have something that our forward pack has lacked of the last few years, Size and depth

Massive game against manly first. The have been there or there abouts for the last 3 years. They could be on the slide this year and what better way to start the season that with a home match. Must win!

Interestingly we have 15 matches on grounds that could be considered home for us. The only 9 we truely play away from home are:
rd 4 at canberra
Rd 5 at Townsville
rd 7 at penrith
rd 11 at Newcastle
rd 16 at kograh
rd 17 at brisbane
rd 20 V Manly at bluetounge
rd 24 at Parramatta
rd 26 on the gold coast

You would like to think that we could jag wins against Canberra, the Cowboys and the Knights. We also only have to leave sydney once in the last 6 weeks of the home and away season.

We should be able to win 10 games played on our "home grounds", thats 2 out of 3. With the 2 byes, that would put us on 24 competition points. those 3 away games that are achievable would put us on 30 points and a shot at the top 4.

Either way, I cant wait.

pretty sure the brisbane away game is the week before origin, hence another 'baby broncos' scenario. although its highly likely we'll have a handful of players playing aswell (farah, galloway, lawrence and tuqiri would all have to be good chances of origin this year)

Correct. Week before Origin 3. The other 2 origin matches we play Newcastle and have a bye the week before
