I can tell you why. Tim said before that the plan is, he coaches for two years and then Benji takes over as head coach. It's all going according to plan and like The Joker said in The Dark Knight, "Nobody panics when things go according to plan, even if the plan is horrifying!"

How times have changed, I still remember Blocker having to miss a GF for patting a referee on the head

Blocker missed a GF for putting Chris Mortimer to sleep in a knockout/playoff game for 5th spot in ‘88.I was at the game at Parra stadium.Blocker was suspended for the 4 finals games which included the GF.

I was in the grandstand sitting behind the great Turvey Mortimer & remember him rushing to the sheds to obviously check on his brother after my favourite tiger Blocker KO’d him.

I was there as well...we had a late season run and beat the bears to get a shot at that midweek playoff then a few days later beat Manly ( think) then the Raiders before losing to Terry Lamb's forearm to Ellery Hanley's head in the GF. Going back another 19 years I was also at the SCG when Artie Beetson was also suspended for the '69 finals series for belting Ron Coote in the semi...Barry Mctaggart and Gary Leo were the frontrowers ...I think Mctaggart filled in for Artie...from memory just like with Blocker the Tigers either sent or tried to send Artie round trip to England to serve at least one game but it was also knocked on the head

After knocking out the raiders plus manly in semis we knocked out Cronulla in prelim final to then qualify for the GF.Had blocker played I’ve no doubt we would’ve won.

With the dogs winning today, they have jumped ahead of us, both them and the cows are 2 pts ahead, but there F/A is terrible, so was ours till last night, but the dragons have replaced us on the bottom, but only just, so a small win this weekend.
