"the knights seaon was one of both disappointment and excitement due to the incosistency of the team beating teams they shouldn't and then losing badly to teams they really should have beaten uate and vuna provided some excitement out wide whilst adam mcdougall showed you don't need hair or be under 40 to still play well, but geez gidley did well making it to be nsw captain but he didn't bring the same leadership to the team but they played well however all in all the knights have probably finished where expected given the drama that occured with the team during the offseason but have done better than they would have if that peanut brian smith had stayed on as coach"
