You're not just hysterical you're a f**king moron.
Let's for a moment assume this to be true.
Who and what is Qantas taking advantage of?
And how is that "morally if not legally" wrong?
Who are you quoting regarding "non deadly"? Me? Please provide the quote. Even if Twizzle doesn't think it matters.
WTF? Why not? Old people are the most at risk.
They are taking advantage of shit/ignorant parents who will make their kids get the jab when they otherwise wouldn't.
You've already said that, but how exactly are they taking advantage?
Because the overwhelming opinion is that the vaccine is better than no vaccine. But that isn't the science.
Sorry mate. I ran the search in response to your response to Twiz (post 9894). I simply quoted relevant things that you have actually posted (including the last one where you introduced it with 'obviously we don't want anyone to die...') , so that you might understand where people get these ideas from.
I'm here for a good time, not a long time. I'd rather croak it as a reasonably healthy 70yo (not for some years, yet) than an as an incapacitated 80yo. I've had a pretty good run, better than most. I won't sacrifice my lifestyle for longevity. Yamba!
That asserts a basis upon which you believe they are able to take advantage, but it doesn't explain how they are actually taking advantage.
That's your choice
Would you be okay if some one made it for you though?
Hopefully, I'll get the chance to say how I croak it, if and when such laws let me dictate that. I don't advocate keeping people alive because some law states so.
You'll have to move to Canberra.
( see what I did there )
I'd probably die around the Lake George area. Less paperwork and all.
If you made it to Collector you could do a Ben Hall retrospective thing.
Been there, done all that. I'm heading to Sydney to see my son who I haven't seen in over a year, then catch up with friends in the Hills area. After that, spend time in other parts of OZ.
We dodged it because we dealt with the cards that we were thrown at us and, notwithstanding a few hiccups, showed how to nip the pandemic in the bud.
For context, at 5m+ both Sydney and Melbourne would make it into the top 10 most populous cities in the USA. For that reason there is zero merit in saying that our strategies would not have worked there. Lockdowns, social distancing, PPE, contact tracing all work as a collective strategy.
No doubt many would say that larger populations are far harder to deal with, however if you break NY down into burrows, it would be far more manageable. Not saying that 8m NYC would not be easy, but stopping the movement of merkins is the key.
Of course our JobKeeper / JobSeeker was a crucial component and it gave cash to most during the tough times.
In contrast the haphazard approach of most countries was the key to their failings. Policy flip-flopping has not worked. No policy in the USA shows in their numbers.
I no longer think Billy might have a point ... the number of short term visitors didn't seem any different pre Feb according to this (in 000s) - Dec has that same peak each year
Can I ask why you choose to believe what you refer to as science from some nutter on Youtube over the overwhelming majority scientific beliefs ?
serious question .... do you honestly believe there are no highly qualified people skeptical of some government behaviour around the world?
Separate names with a comma.
