Way to ignore what I was truly asking you. "I'm commenting on the graph you posted which shows that this year has been out of the ordinary. In fact, with declining death rates over so many years, which your quoted graph shows, it is more unusual than normal."
Ooh fact check ! Long Article about Sweden. You might tweet it to Ivor. Rachel reckons that the answer lies somewhere in between. The only solid takeaway from this is that Sweden underestimated the pandemic and got it all wrong. They should have called AU to ask what we were doing. And still didn't answer my question. Whatever mate. I'll do what I've done for months, and go back to ignoring your shite and smart arsed replies from now on. You are just trolling.
USA is a good place to use as a yard stick. Normally they have about 35k deaths from flu each year and up tom60k if its a bad season. The corona has knocked out 270k in 9mths. At the current rate that will reach another 90k so 360k deaths. And that's with people being carefull. I would suggest adding another 200k if they where not. So 550k deaths vs lets say 40k deaths. It's about 10x more potent. Simple. If you feel that isn't potent enough to enforce lockdowns fair enough. Perhaps the bar should be 25 x more potent before we worry. But that comes down to ones own opinion on the value of someone's life.
