i felt sorry for the poor guy. Its just the way he plays his game with aggression. Although he did throw the arm out. Like gould said he needs to be reminded bout the swinging arm b4 the match and if he was playing a roosters game he wouldnt have been that careless. He is still a mad player. In my opinion aggression is good 4 the game. I also think the ref handled it well. But crker didnt deserve 2 get sin bined. The other guy came in with a arm to the head. That went unnoticed.

PS-Guy is gonna win australian idol

Morley whacked him and he gets too aggressive he has a problem trying to be a star player, he should just calm himself down and play aggressive but not that aggressive throwing swinging arms out. Careless.

i disagree mate. i think it was meant to be a big shoulder hit. the other blokes chin was low so it loked high. there's an important word tho...intent, i dont think there was intent to hurt the lad, so he shouldn't get banned for the ashes, unless english RL wanna show off to the ozzie's how strict our discipline is.

last point, well done brian carney. gave one of your lads a swingin arm, ur lad reacts, brian chucks a few more punches, and your man goes for 10 minutes. eferee weren't too bad but the morley incident is a definate talkin point.

Morley deserved exactly what he got....As its a Test match tho, and not the NRL where his judiciary record is a bit ordinary to say the least - I'd be a bit surprised if he got more than a 1 week spell...Probably as much as he deserves too - As others have said - Reckless? Yep! Careless? Certainly! BLOODY STUPID in the circumstances? Yoouuuu betcha!! But pre-meditated & intentional? Nup, no way!!

He needs to sort himself out though - it might be dismissed as mere 'passion' but he let his team-mates down BIG-TIME!!...And not for the first time!...It's hard 2 say, of course as his dismissal changed the entire structure of the game....but purely on what we all saw yesterday - if GB have 13 men on the pitch for the full 80 mins - they win that game!!

You see just as bad go unpunished week after week. If it had been anyone else they would have stayed on.

Morleys reputation preceedes him unfortunately. The game is tough and so is Morley, get used to it.

Who does carney think he is ? Rod Stewart. :) What a rude haircut that boy has.
Hope he plays again though, he had a shocker of a game and his defensive weaknesses will be exploited. Unfortunately he will be remembered for falling over the tryline twice. Ah well, you get that Sculthorpe and your powerhouse centre had good games. The english fullback showed some good defensive efforts too. The 5/8th was the better of the halves for England.

If it had been in the NRL I daresay he'd have been put on report and allowed to stay on the field....BUT - when he got to the judiciary, he'd have been hit for SIX!!!...Maybe more...

So in THAT regard, he's a very lucky boy indeed, and should be smart & learn from this!!!!!!!!!!! (Just like he should have the time beforethat, and before that and before that....etc)

"The game is tough and so is Morley" you say - Mate collaring someone high, reckless and very dangerously is NOT being tough. It's being undisciplined. Simple as that!

Kearns is as tough as they come, and the fact he was so heavily concussed shows just WHAT kind of force Morley got him with! He did NOT mis!! He can be as hard as he likes, but if he doesn't do it within the rules of the game, then he's just a FOOL!!!...And a liability!

carney has brought his defensive game up to scratch massivley. he's definately the most complete winger in super league. our full back is best in the world so thats why he looked good, different to how lockyer looked when GB started coming back in to it, started panicking. sculthorpe was or 5/8 with long as our scrum half.god only knows why long was picked ahead of deacon. TBH if we dont win this series, waite has got to go. he's the sven goran erikkson of league. picks youngsters n stuff for friendly's and then back to exactly same team for every test. why was horne on the wing? why was sculthorpe at stand-off? sinfield not picked again? farrell had a mixed game. started off running flat with no strength, then towards the end was running on to the ball and breaking tackles. This Oz test squad is definately not as good as others, but i think its mainly down to injuries and retirements. last point, i think we need to stick some hard men in for 2nd test. when GB started playing hard, aussie's seemed to get rattled, think we should try it again.

there ya go, plenty of talking (argueing) points there :D

:lol:classic. Some punk a$$ kid will still tell you to go read the FAQ, wait and see...

Its a wonder Mario hasnt hit the bottle by now, i really dont know how he has survived being in these forums for so long. Anyhow a pink jersey would suit some of those fairy winkle aussies! :p

I thought Kearns stepped back in so thats why the tackle was made to look worse. But yes Morley did hit him high and probably deserved to get sent off. Who was that UK commentator? geez he was rippin into
Morley.

Guy will win Idol! that other one is nancy! ok they both are but Guy will win anyway!

Not just saying this because i am biased obviously with me being English but i dont think morley deserved to be sent off, hes hyped up big time because he plays against these lads every week, and wanted to prove to them how good he is at international level having missed the last load of tests through various injuries.

All that happened was that his aggression tipped over the edge and resulted in what happened.

Come on Morley !!!!!
