:p

LOL. They really do get alot of help from the referees.

I am predicting a 2-1 win for Roma, with goals from Montella and Totti, and Del Piero scoring for Juve.

Should be a fantastic game nonetheless.

I am getting nervous already!!!

FORZA ROMA!!!

well the top 4 teams drew. zzzz. i am very disappointed, it's rare for inter not to come away with 3 points against a lowly team like sampdoria. but hey, after 4 games in both comps this season, inter still has not let in a goal

so the best news of the weekend:

09/21/2003. Parma's Australian wing Mark Bresciano had these words to say after he netted two of the three goals that allowed Parma to stun Lazio at the Olimpico on Sunday afternoon.

"I am very happy as I was able to score in my last two matches. It's a magic moment for me, but I want to continue to work hard," he said.

"We demonstrated we can do well even if a fundamental player like Mutu left us. His departure has given us midfielders more space on offense," added the former Empoli player.

Juventus went to sleep with about 5mins to go which was when Roma got the scores back level at 2-2

Reggina wouldn't be happy getting the lead with about 10mins to go against Brescia but only for them to allow Brescia to score to equal the scores 4-4 with about 3mins to go.

Sampdoria suprised alot of people by keeping Inter at home to a scoreless draw.

Whilst Parma continued there good start to the season to escape with a 3-2 win over Lazio in the last 2mins.

Juventus were practically asleep for the whole second half. They played very defensively, which was a bit of a shame. They must have been a bit scared to attack...

And in other good news, NAZIO lost

:D

Overall a good round of Serie A action!

The sooner Vieiri comes back - the better. I believe Mohammed Kallon is leaving Inter?

WEEK FOUR
(28/9/03 - 15/2/04)
Chievo v Perugia
Empoli v Lazio
AC Milan v Lecce
Modena v Bologna
Parma v Siena
Reggina v Juventus
Roma v Ancona
Sampdoria v Brescia
Udinese v INTER

If Roma and Inter dont win, and dont crush the opposition, I will be disappointed.

0 goals let in after 5 games

i have done some maths

0/5 = 0 goals let in per game

0 x 60 (about the amount of games inter will play this season) = 0

so statistics reveal 0 is approximately the amount of goals inter will let in this season

i have done the maths for a couple of other top teams in europe. juventus have let in 5 goals in 5 games, meaning they'll likely let in 60 goals this season. real madrid will let in about 100 goals

other interesting facts:

toldo has let in 0 goals from 2 penalties

even with luciano's bullsh*t send off in the 15th minute, inter kept bogey team udinese out

How many goals have they scored though??

Their defensive nature is still a problem domestically.

Yet against Arsenal at Highbury, they were playing attacking football. I dont think Vieri is back for Inter and I will find out how long he is out for.

Inter 1 - 3 AC Milan
Inzaghi 39', Kaka 46, Shevchenko 77', Martins 78'

Inter have once again failed due to defensive tactics. They will not win the scudetto this season. Cuper must go. What the hell was he doing taking off Van der Meyde and putting on Helveg? No wonder the Inter fans threw bottles at him.

Juventus 2 - 1 Bologna
Iuliano 23', Signori 25' [pen], Trezeguet 80' [pen]

Once again the Turin scumbags win due to a controversial penalty. Zambrotta even admitted he dived after the game. Such pricks! They make my blood boil! Every single time they are not winning with about 10-15 minutes to go, they always get help. It is a disgrace.

Siena 0 - 0 Roma

Roma conceed their lead at the top of the table after this goal-less draw against Siena. Both teams had goals dissallowed for offsides which were wrong. Siena are a difficult team to breakdown and Roma's attack wasnt firing today. Delvecchio had an early goal dissallowed for handball which could have gone either way. All in all a fair result.

Other scores:

Ancona 0 - 3 Udinese
Empoli 0 - 3 Modena
Lazio 1 - 0 Chievo
Lecce 1 - 4 Brescia
Parma 1 - 0 Sampdoria
Perugia 0 - 0 Reggina

Table after 5 weeks:

Pos | Team | Points
1 Juventus 13
2 Milan 13
3 Roma 11
4 Parma 11
5 Lazio 10
6 Inter 8
7 Chievo Verona 7
8 Modena 7
9 Udinese 7
10 Siena 6
11 Sampdoria 5
12 Brescia 5
13 Reggina 4
14 Bologna 4
15 Perugia 3
16 Lecce 3
17 Empoli 2
18 Ancona 1

HEADS MUST ROLL

no surprises about how pissed off i am right now. i can't remember the last time inter beat milan. or any other top italian team for that matter. i wouldn't care if cuper was sacked right now. he craps on all off-season about how the team will be more attacking orientated, and yet the only team to score less goals in the serie a is ancona

it seems like inter can only play good attacking football in england

actually, i wouldn't even call inter's style defensive right now. it's just shit

I was watching SBS on Sunday and they were doing their coverage of the Serie A, I was surprised a brawl didnt break out in the Inter-Udenise game.

If Cuper were to go, who should replace him?

Dino Zoff?
Vincente Del Bosque?
Gianluca Vialli?
