I hope you remember the great atmosphere at the SFS for the round 24 game. Eels fans should make this a sellout - don't just plan ahead for the Bulldogs game

Bought some tix yesterday and the PAX was in the 10,000 mark.

What I don't get is how the top eastern grandstand can be all sold out?

I usually like to sit in a higher position so I can see the whole ground, birds eye view.

I don't believe for a second that top hald grandstand could be sold out.

I have a theory that The NRL sells the sh*t seats first to make it look good on TV then they sell the better seats at the end. Even the category 1 tix down in the lower half were towards the sideline.

Jake all the white area on the upper eastern deck are corporate boxes. You may be right about them holding seats back, but there are probably not a huge amount to sell anyway.

the scg trust seating is on the west ... i assume they are not yet selling the east bits that they call deluxe GA on the map - will wait and see how sales go .... i think stadiums prefer to herd the crowd into certain places so they need less security staff for a scattered crowd

They can sit on the western side too, but most chose not too, as all of the facilities & carpark are on the western side. I have sat there a few times, and probably will on Friday night. Cant stand being near death riders. (When Parra win, we will be going back to Easts Leagues with our jerseys on, just to rub it in.)

I will point out bay 30 to the kids, and tell them that is where all of the "MAD" Parra fans are.:D

I highly doubt this will be a sellout, being a Friday night game in the city. The high bits of the SFS very rarely get sold/used.

But it will be a vast majority Parramatta crowd, so should feel like a home ground atmosphere!

Put it this way.

Tigers and Eels - One of the biggest games in Sydney this year wasn't a sell out and remembering ticket prices are higher for the Semi Game

No way sell out

Bays immediately around the tunnel - most likely club staff and family allocations, NRL sponsors, NRL freebies?

I highly doubt 3 Bays of Category 1 tickets that it could of been allocated for those people.

NRL freebies would be behind the post or General Admission

People who work within the Rugby League network do get free Category 1 tickets though it's limited.

I recall the maps of the SFS when Grand Finals were held there and tickets went onsale... the best Category 1 bays (including 12, 13, 14 and more) were always blocked out and unavailable.

Apart from that, I can't think of any other reason they wouldn't be available.

I can understand them making the premium seats for finals more expensive. I've chosen to buy category 1 seats, I'm willing to pay more to get a good view of the game. They really should have more tickets available that offer cheaper options.
A game like this should sell out and the only reason it won't is because people aren't prepared to pay expensive prices to have to sit behind the goalposts.
IMO these seats should be no more than $15....they would all sell then I'm quite certain of it.
