Twas a great sunday afternoon. My first time back to an away game since last season, having move back to Canberra at the end of last year. Made me remember how much fun it is.
We(I still include myself in the SGB

) are looking at ways to get a Canberra 'army' going. The idea is to get a setup in the Inner Bowl, where you can purchase season tickets to join the 'loud' supporters with the flags and stuff. I don't know if Nick has said this to the club yet, but I am sure it will happen soon. The position of the 'army', or as I would call it "The Canberra Raiding Party", is vital to it's survival. Somewhere on either the western or eastern sides of the bowl would ensure there is a bunch of supporters. I know I would be there every game I could. We need to get the club on board, and I think the way they have supported the SGB over the years, they would jump at the idea. We are pretty much the only club that doesn't have a group of passionate flag waving chanting types at our home ground. I want to change this. Once people realise how much the boys appreciate this type of support, I see it can only grow and grow. We need to get the ball rolling, then we need to get the flags, banners and all that started...then it will begin...
