Hasn't seen first grade all season but will have to step up in a semi final this weekend with priddis now out for the season with a punctured lung.

Just hoping someone here could give us an indication as to how he goes in a finals footy???

Shannon will give 110% although he is no Priddis. He'll make the same amount of tackles but you'll be losing thrust from dummy half as he's not as quick. His service should be good, he bends to the ball and passes off the deck.

I think he only played one semi final for the Sharks in 2000 vs Broncos at ANZ and we were flogged

Correct Frenzy. We played well for 60 minutes of that game, having a 20-4 halftime lead only to go down 34-20 with injuries to Rogers and Graham. Shannon also scored a try - he's a barge-over specialist.

Yes I always saw that game as the beginning of the end for Russell Richardson after his unhappy second half.

It was a shame too because he beat the best backline in the world on several occassions in the first half. If he didn't drop THAT ball he'd be an Australian Test regular and one of the best centres in the game. How one event can change an entire career.

For sure! But one game, the players bite others' testicles while in the other, you can play wing and not make a tackle all match.

Where were you when Kimmorley played 50 minutes for us with a broken jaw? Or later in the year when he played 15 minutes with a ruptured nut?

But Kimmorley's injuries were a million times painful! And imagine experiencing abstinence for all those weeks!

Didn't he go off for the last ten minutes when he ruptured his nut? I remember wondering why he limped off with the trainer as I didn't see the cruncher from where I was sitting. Not that you can blame him for it, of course.

Any volunteers to help show Dimitri that a ruptured nut is more painful than a broken hand?
