Bloody hell, 4 dragin players in the NSW side ???

We'd better pray that Queensland pick 5 dragins so we have some advantage.

Spoke to Bails on Sat night & asked about his goals.
He is going all out trying for game 2.
If Hiney & Bobcat don't aim up, he might be in with a shot too after his game the other night.

Kite in the team instead of Clinton is disgraceful.

As is the decision to have Fitzgibbon in the run on side back after 2 games of league instead of Trent Waterhouse.

To not have Jason Stevens in the run on side nor the bench is mistyfying considering the lack of real big props in the side. and his performances in city/country and in general for the Sharks.

I like not having any sharks in the origin, means we stay fit and is a better chance for us, i feel bad for the potentials that could have been in but i like this, we'll be match fit all season now!

Thats just me though

It's a shame neither Stevens or Noddy got picked because I think they have performed well enough to be selected.

But, at least we can go into the next few rounds with our full team line up.

I haven't been able to support the Blues for a couple of years now. It's just impossible to cheer for anything to do with Gus Gould. I'll be hoping for a Maroon white-wash. And I can't believe I just wrote that...

I'm glad no Sharks got picked and I cant believe Hornby is at 1 after the SHOCKER he had on Saturday night

Watched in the club and cheered on the Bulldogs win by 13+

I think hornby goes good.
But he will never go as good as peach.
Shows you that basically the same selectors can find a way to promote a particular fullback, whilst finding reasons year after year to keep another fullback out.

It's good news for the Sharks as a whole and bad news for a couple of individuals. As for the team they did pick, not bad. Gus has picked a TEAM rather than the best player in each position IMO.

That NSW team is shocking!
Hornby goes half decent but is not SOO quality.
Shaun Timmons is not the 5/8 NSW needs outside Gower. Id be pizzed off if i was one Scott Hill.
Kite shouldnt even be in the 30 man squad they picked let alone be in the 17 over Clinton or Stevo for that Matter.
Whats Andrew Ryan doing in there. He goes ok but there better quality second rowers running around at the moment.

I dont know why they bother with the other selectors as its obvious Phil Gould and Daley's opinions were the only ones that seemed to have counted.

Noddy and Stevo at least will be on deck for Cronulla which is one of the only positives i am taking from that NSW side at the moment.

Clinton is injured. But Stevo still deserves a bench spot over Kite. I feel sorry for Scott Hill. Just proves once again that City vs Country is a farce. Go Qld!

I dont know if Clinton is injured
Didnt he not get picked cos he's only played 1 game in 5 weeks

Which would mean the bye counted against him

Queensland's side is impressive, for all their usual doom and gloom, us against the world talk, they've got a thoroughly capable side, particularly if Prince fires
