Agree with your advice fully ,but last year was not the year of the $13m NRL grant, this year is.

I'd be concerned if we lose that amount this year, but what year was Lyle's bonus paid?
The importance also of getting the retail and refurbished leagues club done and dusted,cannot be underestimated.
And also dumb comments and off field incidents by players doesn't help the club secure sponsors easily.

I was once told the break even crowd for the Club when they hold a match at Shark Park was around 15,000.
