About the refereeing, yeah, it's getting bad. But it's bad for everyone, not just us.
What pisses me off the most is the constant coaching from the referees. It seems to me that most refs are out there spending most of their time telling individuals how to play the game instead of refereeing it. I use Sports Ears at the games to the listen to the refs and it's amazing how many times you hear the players being warned for the same things, over and over again, without being penalised.
I think the answer is to stop the player coaching from referees. Just start penalising the f**kers, that'll learn them. I reckon there's so much bullsh*t in the game because the players know there is a tolerance level. They are happy to infringe the first few times because they know they're just gonna get an innocuous warning from the pocket referee at the next break in play.
This two referee system also pisses me off. There are times when you can clearly hear the pocket referee make a correct call only to be ignored or overuled by the primary referee. What's the point in having them both out there if that's the case?
