A bit to like tonight. Plenty of dropped ball and stoopid passes (normal fare) but the experience of a couple of old heads is good. Look, POM keeps coming in and leaving Cov isolated, but he is a big efer and was a handfull at times. We looked ok with Morris and Aiton on the feild at the same time. We mixed it up going lateral at times then through the pigs at others. Could have won it at the death. AK started to get more comfortable at the end. Gordon is quick.
3 Morris (great ruck work)
2 Snowy / Dougy (always there)
1 Cov (defended well when left isolated. Lead when Baz was off)

Thought our dummy half play was the best it's been in a long time (not saying much). So nice to see quick, direct service from dummy half, some good runs and a nice play to set up the Douglas try. Big step up from the slow-motion play of Corey Hughes.

Gallen doesnt deserve any points tonight IMO... ata crucial time he needed to step up and be the senior player and hold that ball tight and threw a stupid pass. Sure its 1 play but given his experience eh should know better andd that play alone drops him outside the best 3 sharks in the match tonight.

Morris did well and was clearly under strict instructions... i was suprised.

So

3 Dougy
2 Snowy
1 Morris

3 - Gallen
2 - Snowden/Dougie (take your pick)
1 - Cov (kept Melbourne centre reasonably quiet).
Inverse:
Cuthbo - very disappointing. At one stage dropped the ball, missed the following tackle and tripped over in three consecutive plays. He'd wanna improve a heck of a lot otherwise he shouldn't see much of first grade.

I only caught the second half and there wasn't anyone in the outside backs who caught my eye. Douglas and Gallen tried hard, but we are still a frustrating side to watch.

not giving 3,2,1 this week but I'm giving -10 to a ref in the under 8s game who penalised a team for their kick off not going 10m
