I have just returned home from todays game. Earlier in the day i was thinking about typing up a report on the PL game for the supporters who were unable to go to the game. After todays effort, i cant see the point.

I have, until now, been a Brian Smith fan. However, something has definitely gone wrong within the team. The team do not want to play for him. There can be no doubt about this. Until he goes, we will not be successful. It is sad, as he has been a great man for the club. He has just stayed too long, and must go.

I cant believe that a first grade side could capitulate like that.

I agree. I've long been a Smith advocate for what he did to bring us out of the Doldrums. Unfortunately it is coming full circle and we need to get off this merry go round.
We need a younger coach who can relate to the players he is coaching.

They dont seem to have the enthusiasm and passion tyo play.

We have the skill to beat these lower ranked IMO, but we just cant do it.

We are a better team than this.

John Cartwright would be my pick. If he could bring Dean Pay as an assistant that would be awesome, it wouldn't take long before we were back up to speed.
Also bringing some of the coaching techniques from the roosters would help us improve as well as potentially weakening a rival.
Looking at the low crowd turn out, I think it has become a move that Fitzgerald can't afford NOT to make.

Jt is definately not the answer.... but either is smith.... hes done well for the club in the past but his time has come... I think we will be stuck with him (and substandard results) for the rest of the year.... if we go really bad u never know he might resign, but i doubt it... he will be here for the remainder of his contract and we just have to put up with him and hope the eels can somehow turn things around...... but its not looing good.

2 names who have done it often enough. Ian Millward and Chris Anderson. I'd love to see Millward at the club.

Smith has got to go. The situation has been that way for 1 year and 6 rounds now and counting.....

Didn't take long for the world to turn - between Wednesday and Sunday, Smithy has lost it.

I've gotta say I don't know what the hell has happened and there doesn't seem to be much inspiration from anyone, on the field or off it.....I don't know if its Smithy's fault or not, but something has gotta change or the crowds are gunna get even worse :(

I've always thought that with Smith these is still hope, not anymore. I now firmly believe that until he leaves we are not going to be a success. Shame is he's probably here for another 2 and a half years. I wish Fitzy and the board would realise things aren't going well at the moment, and there is only one man to blame for it.

It was a shame to see such a poor crowd today.... But I had the opportunity to go to the match but didnt, because i kind of had a feeling the result would be what it was. Look i lost patience with smith a long time ago, but i dont wanna become a smith basher. He's doing his best..... But it seems the the ppl of parramatta r somewhat beginning to speak... and what better way to get fitzys attention than not turn up to matches?

just some of my thoughts....

ps im not suggesting fans boycott matches in protest, all i am saying is that i think ppl r doing it already.... maybe subconciously .....
