quote from nrl article: Tri series & 2008 WC Confirmed

And Wests Tigers NRL coach Tim Sheens has offered pre-season training and trial matches to Evgeny Bojoukov and Sergey Dobrynine after they starred for Russia at the World Sevens.

Thats great stuff, i hope they both go well, it would be great if other nrl teams followed suit

He did the same thing with Noa Nadruku all those years back, spotted him at the 7's. While its unlikely these two russkis will be anywhere near Noa...they'll take home some invaluable experience.

congrats Tigers on helping develop international rugby league.
good to see though i feel some of the Tongan and PNG players would be a lot better assetts. both teams were very unlucky not to progress further in the sevens and showed a lot of talent for amateur - semi professional players.
though as mentioned, the training at least should help develop these players skills which will benefit the Bears and ultimately international rugby league.
congrats again to Tim Sheens and the tigers officials for this decision.
