Pretty sure Clarke was unhappy SOK was dropped for 2nd Test.

SOK admitted in an interview last year after being dropped that it was due to he and Michael Clarke not getting along.

Clark is not a selector anymore. If thats the case then Clarkey needs a kick up the arse and he should keep personalities out of it.

Playing in Brisbane I would leave Lyon out, we dont need two spinners on a green top and SOK should be a lock.

I dont get the love for Josh Lalor but why the f**k isn't Cummins in there. AFAIK he is not injured and he needs 4 day games to build up some form and match fitness.

I reckon Lyon is playing cause he needs a gallop before the first test and the 1st test is in Brisbane anyway, so get him familiar with conditions


I reckon they have Cummins scheduled to play the last 3 ODIs vs South Africa, starting in Canberra on Wed the 19th. I guess ODIs is a step up from t20 to build up his match fitness

SOK is more than good enough to do the job, or Steve Smith when available.
No time picking someone just for their spin bowling when they aren't even that good at it anyway.
