The Vics won the toss and predictably chose to bat. No doubt their plan is to just stay in as long as possible given they only have to draw to get the win. They lost Quiney early though for 15.

Great day for the Bulls they've given themselves a chance to win though there's a sh*tload more cricket left in this game. The Vics have fought back well after a mostly poor batting display with Wright making an invaluable 42 and Wade unbeaten on 85, it could very well turn out to be a match winning innings. If they can post somewhere 300+ you'd have to think that's a very competitive score given the Bulls will have to bowl the Vics out again to win.

Simpson probably bowled Boyce and himself a little bit too long in then. Still a pretty good day. Hastings would have to be close to the worst player of spin in the company for blokes who are known to be able to bat a bit. Just swings and hopes for the best. When Simpson was bowling to him in Brisbane, it looked like he was trying to swat flies.

Queensland are doing a Victoria losing a couple of quick ones in Townsend and Carseldine.

Well Queensland are better off than Victoria at this same score. Chris Lynn looks to be a talent, made a 100 in his last match and now runs here.

and sure enough the Bulls lose another couple of quick ones in Lynn and Hopes. A big innings from Hartley is what they really need here which he's capable of doing. Broad still in and is on 24.
