Hazlewood didnt bowl first innings because of a sidestrain, mustn't have been too bad because he bowled second inning. Rolled them for 288, enforced the follow on and they are 6/96. Copeland with another couple of wickets, Hazlewood 2/10 off 11 and O'Keefe with the other two. Go blues

Our best performance, hopefully we can somehow make the final, could give it a shake.

Rolled them, went from 6/96 to all out for 103. Love a good innings victory.

Copeland finished with 5/31, now taken 23 wickets in 3 games

Trent Copeland, a right-arm fast bowler from the St George club, has been a stand-out performer in Sydney grade cricket over the past two seasons. In 2008-09 he was the second highest wicket-taker with 61 at 16.62 and this season has also gone well. He was promoted to the Blues' Sheffield Shield side to debut against Queensland at the SCG following some strong performances in the Second XI and produced a remarkable ten-wicket match. The 8 for 92 he claimed in the first innings was the second-best innings return ever by a player on first-class debut for New South Wales.

i read on the weekend that khawaja played grade cricket, and got a howler from the ump lbw, that the deaf man outside the ground could hear it hit his bat, the blues will be much stronger with him back.

good job

where has this been all year ?

We actually haven't been that bad. If we hadn't made those two awful declarations against Tassie and Qld (especially QLD) we could be on 18 points now at least and possibly 22.

That declaration in Brisbane was just criminal with Smith and Khawaja both on unbeaten tons. We should have gone for 550 + like this game and played them out of it, but instead we give em a sniff, lose by 17 on first innings and then collapse to give em all six points. 12 point turn around just there. The worst thing about it is the toads are on 20 points thanks to that win, when they should be back on 14.

The Tassie declaration wasn't as bad, but we were 8 down for 400 odd with Smith still in. Another 50 or so and we could have made it a lot harder and secured the 2 points.

There have been a few nasty collapses, but that's going to happen with such a young side. Even so the other teams will fear us. With Hughes back in the zone and our young quicks getting better each time they play we aren't far away from being a serious threat. Katich and Jaques aren't far away from a big score and if Khawaja is fit then our batting looks frightening. Copeland has taken to it like a duck to water, Hazelwood is getting better and better, and O'Keefe got wickets.

You can bet the Victorians are hoping Qld can keep us out of the final.

Well we will take another hit in the batting once the NZ tour starts with Katich and possible Hughes over in NZ. So don't know how we will fare if we made the final.

That's bullsh*t, you simply shouldnt score 450 in the first innings and lose outright. Bowlers had them 5/88 and then f**ked it up completely.

Simply a very poor bowling performance by NSW that game.

Stand by my statement. Our bowlers had what 8 matches between them? When you've got your foot on their throat you use the other foot to kick em in the head.
