I would have liked to have seen Michael Hill given the rest of the season at #3 or #5 with Hodge and White missing for the rest of the season in SS, but he is 12th man.

It will be interesting to see how Finch (on debut) and Quiney perform at #5 and #6 at SS level.

Finch and Quiney have put on 60-odd for 5th wicket.

The last 10 scoring shots have been boundaries.

Victoria leads by about 350 with 2 wickets in hand at stumps thanks to Aaron Finch with 50 on debut, Matty Wade with 49 and a brilliant unbeaten 137 from Rob Quiney. Both he and Mash were lucky to even get a game but Quiney had atleast shown some good stuff in the one dayers in the past

Probably declare overnight, a win tomorrow could seal a home final if the Blues can also beat QLD
