Make that 2 dropped catches now... the first by Forrest at 1st slip and the 2nd by the keeper Nevill.
One of the weakest Victoria has fielded in a few years as well
Although NSW still had more Test caps
Two guys with test caps eddie, one of them is casson, one coming back from a long term back injury, hardly intimidating compared. To be fair both sides pretty weak.
Victoria only had 2 bowlers in their lineup by tea on day 1! Hastings was picked for his batting :lol:lol, victoria were nowhere near as weak as what NSW were ... and victoria were without cameron sh*te which immediately strengthens their team
FFS that must have been a third string bowling attack best NSW had
Victoria only had 2 bowlers in their lineup by tea on day 1! Hastings was picked for his batting
Yet as said, a few of them wouldnt play anyway and if counting Nannes and Harwood who had little impact as bowlers due to injury and didnt bowl after halfway through day 1, we were missing 8, NSW 8-9 :roll:irrespetive if they would make the best 11, they still would make the side for depth alone
and yet they were still more experienced than our bowlers
lol and look, your own Victorian friend shows us we had twice as many players out as you
Well he's not all that good and he throws the ball (or certainly looks like it, in fact been reprimanded for it) so i'd say fair enough.I know both were weak, but some would have you believe only NSW is ever weakened
Found it interesting that Bird hadnt played a first class game in 3-4 years, he has been fairly regular member of the one day side hasnt he?
NSW: Hughes, Katich, Warner, Clarke, Haddin, Clark, Lee, Henriques, Bracken, Hauritz, Bollinger and Cameron. (It's doubtful Warner, Henriques and Cameron would be in their best XI for shield matches)
