Should QLD throw Game 3 to keep Freddy?

It should be obvious to all now that Brad Fittler's meteoric rise and success as an Origin coach came on the back of the greatest collective player retirement change of guard for QLD. In other words a coincidence. If NSW keep Fittler on for another 2 years, that can only benefit the Maroons.

The question that arises is: Should QLD throw Game 3, spectacularly, to boost Fittler's resigning stocks?
