Will Smith has been on fire for the Panthers in Moylan's place in recent weeks and was man of the match against the Knights yesterday. It says he is still off contract for next year on Zero Tackle, and the Panthers backline next season will surely consist of Moylan, Mansour, Whare, Idris and DWZ.
I reckon it would be a great idea to give him a 2 year contract - he has proven he is good enough to play first grade, it would surely not cost very much, it would give Mitchell more time to develop (I would hate to see him thrown in the deep end too soon), and to be honest I'm not sold on the Fergo-To-Fullback idea next year.
Any thoughts?
