Why all the sudden Bickerstaff hate?

He played for us last year while he was injured because we were short in the forwards - a symptom of poor recruiting.

He'll be good again given half a chance, just you watch.

Its not that. I like Bickers, but nrl.com f**ked up.

Big Sammy Isemonger took the hat-trick.

Personally SS I think Birdy is playing better than Bickers so maybe you should cut some slack with him too.

I think the poit was well and truly missed here. Isemonger scored the tries. That's what Salmon was having a go at.

I have always liked Bickerstaff since he came down from Qld. My old man reckons he should always be in the side. He is no frills and we have forwards at the club that are better but he won't let us down.

I always will respect Bickerstaff because he absolutely stomped on the Dragons in that semi-final in 2002.

I watched the replay yesterday and I was pretty happy with Bird . He defended well I thought. Made a few breaks ...ok he didn't pass the ball but he didn't throw a crap pass and lose possesion. ( during the breaks he made ) I like what I saw of Simmons and Saleh will make a good bridesmaid.
Nutley ......... needs a week of reflection in the divvy's to get in touch with his inner penalty count.

Bring on Bickerstaff , he should be made a life member for his demolition of the merged spitters in 2002. I love the man . :D

i watched bickerstaff very closely last week as i rated him highly on his old form...but i would have to say unless he is carrying an injury his form does not warrant a first grade spot.
however stu raper is very savvy and i reckon this might be an incentive to get mb back in form.
it shows how much depth we have, if we can get a combination or some rhythm in our game we are really a dangerous side.

Gallen and Lomu to come back too. We do have so much more depth this year and that is one of the essential ingredients to winning a comp. The future is looking brighter and brighter.

Bickerstaff in 2002 was great. In 2003 he was soft and really had no impact at all. I'd rather someone like big Dale Newton on the field putting fear into people over the 2003 Bickerstaff.
