i cant remember seeing Soward ever truely break the line when the line was set.. most of his line breaks were when the line was already disjointed as a result of second phase play, a dropped ball, or a poor kick chase etc etc...

Watch some highlights from the 2009/2010 seasons, mate. He did score a lot of tries from a broken line but he also scored plenty breaking through a fixed line.

Soward has a shit attitude thats fact and some of the players past and present dislike him thats a known fact.

He is a professional footballer if he wants to carry on like a spoilt child then piss off no player is bigger than the team even with a rock star attitude like he has.

He is playing like a busted arsehole and honestly shouldn't be in first grade but since the options are non existant then Price has no choice.

I hope he leaves at the end of the year not worth the money he is on.

Soward was comfortable under Bennett.

He was instucted to stand deep and look for opportunities.

Now he is being asked to run the ball and be bashed by big forwards in the hope of breaking the line. He doen't like taking on the forwards and he believes Price is trashing his career with way out game plans that simply are impossible to run with this squad of players.

Give Soward and the team a game plan that suits their skill-set and you will see a different more effective Soward and Dragons team.

Possm I believe you're giving Price too much credit. There doesn't appear to be a game plan. I wouldn't class passing the ball to the bloke next to you as a game plan. Nor putting bomb after bomb up just hoping for an error. Our players look like they've just met each other.

We do seem at logaheads with Soward & Price, it would be fascinating to see what a new coach would do with Jamie's football... but whether he can ever get back to his best, and he needs to be pretty close to his best to hold his spot, hes not a freak like some of the halves in the comp.

You are all missing the obvious. Jamie and Price are at loggerheads. They despise one another with a passion. Just look at the body language between them. Price gives Jamie instructions. Jamie thinks this bloke has just rocked in from fantasyland. Whereas with Bennet he had almost a Father/Son relationship. Jamie has no respect for Price whatsoever, just contempt. But his motivation may lay elsewhere, should the offers not come flooding in.

And this is the problem with many players today,too precious to cop criticism or easily offended so they sulk instead of toughening up and making a statement.
If Soward has a problem with Price then he should f#*k off and go play elsewhere.
