Just following up if anyone's heard an update on the supposed backrower signing from the sharks. It was previously announced on Zero Tackle but haven't heard anything officially from the club ?

Thanks, I've seen some footage of him playing Koe cup for Newtown Jets. He looks very promising.

i reckon he will play as a prop or 13 in NSW Cup.. massive boy and we r well covered in the 2nd row already.

he is an ex 5/8 from memory for his junior years so a no13 he could play well especially Stewart fills out some more and maybe is more a prop in the future

I did really like Coutts on the edge he is a nightmare to tackle - and still filling out no doubt but is an attacking weapon and hard to handle

I just think his show and go and pace to take on centres is pretty dangerous on the edge and opens up space and time for our halves FB and wingers

he could genuinely be a find and I was surprised he wanted to move clubs and or not be retained by the Sharks

fitzy may have a different view ie his defence and attitude ?

we will soon know but can’t wait to follow his game time and track what trajectory evolves to

Stewart shocked pretty much 99% on this forum so we have all been wrong before unless ur the 1%

I haven’t heard a bad word about Stewart since he slotted into NRL
