Tigers paid too much for gallaway. O'Hara cured the pack size problem.

From an non-tigers fan point of view, I thought the Tigers would look more at outside backs?

The price does seem very high but until the Tigers start making the finals they're going to have to pay overs to sign just about any one.

I wouldn't think forwards was a big issue for the Tigers, they have quite a good pack with O'Hara there.

O'Hara is ok but is a chronic asthmatic and heavy smoker, which severely limits his game time to no more than 30 minutes a match. 2003 was by far his best year and was in decline last year and didn't really do much until he stuffed his shoulder this year.

I hope he can turn it around though and if he does, the Tigers will be a force in 2006.

The Tigers have been looking to alleviate the size problems in the forward pack this year.

At 102 kg Ryan O'Hara doesn't really solve this problem and with O'Neill not being resigned Sheens has stated that he wanted to sign a big strong second rower.

At 112 kg Galloway fits this mould.

The final step will be to secure a new centre or winger to replace Richards and take advantage of the extra space this new forward pack will be creating for Prince and Marshall.

Yeah you told us all this 2 weeks ago, hard to come to terms with eh?

Dunno why we'll be lucky to get 30 minutes per game from him when you guys consistently got 40 & 50...........

And anyway, if hes coming off the bench then 30's perfect.

Anyone know if Jobson is under contract for next year?
He signed for 1 year at the end of last year, don't expect him to be here next year unless he doesn't want much money.

Who?

Oh that hopeless guy who did nothing before coming here, and consistently continued doing nothing while here.

Send him to Ryde, they may need a benchie there

Lets keep this thread near the top of the tree each week, as a monument to one of the stupidiest League Unlimited calls of the year...
