I always used to hate it in ET Rugby League and ARL 96 how if you scored underneath the posts the kicker would take the ball back 21 metres before having a shot at goal. You always had a slight chance of missing. In the NRL demo you had the same problem. Maybe Sidhe should consider allowing the player to choose where he places the ball after scoring?

yes i think that was very cool in jonah lomu rugby... but no games since have done it.

somehow i dont think it will happen in this version but maybe the next

In rugby 2001 it automatically placed the ball a realistic distance from the try-line when lining up a conversion. Eg a shot from in front was taken from around 10m out, while a shot from the sideline was taken from about 20-25m back.

Yeah that would be great just like in lomu rugby, hopefully that option is on there.
