So if Chad was dropped due to poor form, when is the trigger pulled on Sj. I am a fan but like others on here have been a luke warm fan. Love his media personality but f**king dislike his not putting in in more games than not. It’s super suss that the game after his contract is sorted, it looks like he’s..me’h. I wished he could have had a blinder and played the house down, but not to be. The game before and the one before that were also average.
So applying the Chad logic,I think the new steel the club needs to show, starts now. Drop SJ when Mozzarella is fit and give Trindall the rest of the season to show what he has. Sure he had a shit game yesterday also but the circumstances where a bit off.Shaun I don’t give that luxury. He is the shot caller and played like a sack of .

f**k I’d rather go down swinging and firmly showing what is acceptable next year and now, than watch that kinda shit dished up. To add insult then hugging and smiling after the game, not cool.
I could never play the game anywhere near the level these men do, but geez yesterday was insipid.
If it is good enough for Chad, it’s good enough for Shaun.
f**k this year if it looks like that.. rebuild starts now.

Well it would give Trindall a few games to show if he's up for it. A contracted player for next season. Also is Tracey not considered a half at all anymore?

f**k him off ASAP. Tracy needs to come back in the half’s mix he is a half or 14 IMO. Trindal needs more chances but not @ 6 is way to quiet at calling for the ball when there is a half there. Needs to be given control that’s it’s all up to him not second fiddle.

I don’t think he’s been that bad.

can’t really rely on Moylan so good chance we end up with Trindall and CT6, which wouldn’t be too bad for fallback pairing after your 3 highest paid halves have been remo

Yeah I hear you Qs. I have had enough with the mediocrity.I believe tho that if Chad is gets dropped, Sj has to be accountable. Shaun is signed elsewhere so he is clearly not part of the plan. Play well and stay in The team, simple.Turn in a stinker after signing a contract that very week.. well you’ve made it clear. The way to avoid all of that was to at least look like you cared yesterday.
IMO accountability for performance is a bench mark the club will set under Fitz. Might as well start now when the stakes are not as big. We are out first week of the finals playing as we have been anyway. Absolute best is second week.

Let’s start this year for the next, band aid is half ripped off . Let’s go all the way.

I’m not a huge fan of Trindall but I don’t actually think he was that bad yesterday for someone thrown in to it at the last minute. Had a big hand in 2 of our tries. More then Johnson did. That play that special k mentioned plus the one where he caught the ball and got tackled in to our in goal without putting up any sort of fight really were embarrassing. Good luck warriors, backwards step.

The fact that SJ is going back to the " soft as shite " Warriors tells you everything you would ever want to know about his mentality , going back to where his comfy security blanket will be nice and warm . Soft c@%k .

honestly after the year we’ve had with travel restrictions etc I can’t blame him. I know the Warriors have been over here too, but I can understand the appeal of going home at this point.

Totally, especially with his young kid but it also says alot about his aspirations about on field success too.

Though between the Dogs and the Warriors he probably didn't have much of an option. Unless he wanted to do a Benji and go to a good club at bottom dollar rates.

The one where he got caught in goal is the one that pissed me off the most.

It was the second of two plays of his in the space of a few minutes that cost us dearly: the first a long kick downfield for a 7 tackle set. We concede a try off the back of that. Then from the kick off they marched it upfield, put up the kick and he surrenders meekly in goal.

Game over right there.

I backed SJ to have a blinder and show the majority of punters that he is a professional and will put in. He dogged it hard in some situations and didn't seem to give a shit at all. Disappointed to say the least.
I don't know if Connor is up to it as a first grade Half or 5/8 but it would be nice to see some enthusiasm and up tempo play in that position. Something CT has in bucketloads in any position he is put in so yeah, give him a shot.
Nobody is beating the storm or Panthers this year so I'd be happy to start the auditions for next year as well.

I’d rather us come 12th and test out, piss off as many players as possible all for next year then stick with dead wood to come 8th.
sadly we just don’t have enough reserves to cover the amount of shit that doesn’t need to be there. Out of our whole squad only Williams, Rudolph, katoa, ronaldo Kennedy and Tracy are guaranteed in the starting 17 IMO few others with a decent off season and change of attitude but not at this stage.

I didn't bother to watch the game, result was totally not a surprise, but SJ's performance does not surprise me in the slightest. In fact I predicted the very thing in a thread before the game.

We have two supremely talented guys in our squad, Moylan and SJ, that just don't appear to have the drive/heart/desire whatever you want to call it to make the most of their undoubted skills.

I'll be glad to see the back of both of them.
