As much as I'd love to see Moi Moi vs Laurie Round 2 I'm expecting Shirnack to get the nod ahead of Laurie.

Its a hard choice.. I would like Laurie there for the intimadation factor but i also worry about him handling the speed of play. I think tho we really need some size against them so i would sway towards having him on the bench . If he does play i hope the Refs dont over react if he shows aggression in the tackles like the last time.

Good call lets change a winning team.:crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy:

Each to their own mate - are you saying that any changes will be detrimental? The team that beat the Sharks had numerous positional and personel changes due to the Gallant injury...

Payne has been superb! He looks like a geniused kid but he's been a hard worker and when he tackles a player, they stay tackled.

I'll take or leave Skando. He brings heart but the younger guys were awesome when Gallows and Heighno were out. Shirnack was tip-top. Hard to know whether he can repeat the performance week-in week-out though. Most players from Toyota Cup usually have a blinder in there first game (especially forwards) as they need to make their mark.

Laurie is tough but too dumb at the moment. He needs to learn footballing skills. At the moment he's too much of a liability. Lost ball against the recent form from the Eels means points scored on you.

Sheens wouldn't stupid enough to p[ut Laurie in the side. Too raw. Too loose with his carries. A penalty/error machine. Too risky this close to the Top 8.

WESTS Tigers prop John Skandalis is expected to miss Friday's NRL blockbuster against Parramatta due to a corked thigh.

Skandalis is one of several Tigers forwards carrying an injury after Sunday's big win over Cronulla and assistant coach Royce Simmons says it is unlikely the 2005 premiership hero will be fit to play.
Skipper Robbie Farah (calf) and prop Keith Galloway (hand) also sat out training at Concord Oval on Tuesday but are not in doubt for the clash at the Sydney Football Stadium.
"I don't think we will bother picking John Skandalis, he has a badly corked leg,'' said Simmons. "We are a little bit scarred in there. There won't be too many boys on the training field today. There is a little bit of bruising in there.

I'd throw in Dwyer. Lui's at half so there will be a familiar combo there as well as Ashyford. I'm also going with Dwyer because he can score a 60 metre try, whereas Payne, Shirnack cannot.

So Dwyers pretty quick aye ? He looks like a solid defender from what ive seen of him and he hits solidly and drops them down quickly so maybe he will be a good selection against a side with a lot of offloads in them

Yeah. Ex centre. Got some toe on him. Runs good lines, good footwork before the line. His D is pretty good too.
