does anyone know if he's been re-signed by the Tigers because I heard a rumour today that he's going to Manly in '05

Btw the same source told me that Tahu & Monahan had also gone to Manly and that Sonny Bill-Williams had gone to the Sharks next year .

Mind you if I had a $ for every rumour I've heard about RL players then ...

Bloody Hell. Skando is one of my favorite Wests Tigers players... I remember when Tommy left Western Suburbs to play for Newtown... I went on six months Bereavement Leave, I was shattered...

Skando must stay a Wests Tiger player...

I dont like it........there was mention of Skando wanting a 2 year contract the same weekend halatau re-signed for another two years......that was 3 or 4 weeks ago, what the f@ck are they waiting for?

maybe the possible introduction of a 16th team is muddying the waters with re-signings . Like how Matt Orford is only interested in a 1 year deal knowing that a CC or GC team will be parking the Oz Lotto truck in his driveway if they win a NRL license.

Yeh, the players you mentioned were given permission to negotiate before June 30. Firman is another one who has been given permission.

I think they (the players and their managers) can 'agree to terms', but can't officially sign anything before June 30.
