I had so much hope for RL in the north east region 4-5 years ago with the thunder playing at Kingston park and getting investment from the guy who owned the falcons etc.

there also seemed to be a lot of grassroots development going on in the region at the time as well.
It's always going to be a development area it thinks....not a hinterland for league like Surrey or somewhere down south but enough grassroots and professional game interest to be satisfactory

Guillermo Aispuro-Bichet - great effort for one’s first super league try and can kick goals. Hope he continues to develop

It's not looking with the Falcons up for sale and the Saudis owning Newcastle with their vanity power projetcs are not interested...it's not looking good.
