Sl season so far - my view on each team

Leeds-Have had a very good start losing just one game. have coped well without the notable absences of diskin and mcguire. A very good bet for the grand final so far.

St helens-Similar to leeds with a few more slip ups, a return to form of cunnigham and the inspired signings of lyon and anderson have seen them move into the top 2 losing only to leeds and wigan away. Their away form could prove a problem, the last time they beat a 'big team' away from home was in 2003 when they inflicted a 35-0 on the bulls.

Hull- Just how are hull in third exactly, they've barely put in 1 complete performance under kear and have lost all 3 times they have faced a top team so far. Scraping past relegation threatened widnes at home compared to saints and leeds' thrashings of them show the difference and level in performance. Unless hull improve soon they will slip down the table.

Wigan- Injuries have once again haunted the warriors team. They had a rocky start then kick started their season on good friday with a gutsy win against saints, then managing to back this up a few days later with a win at hull, however they then lost away at huddersfield. I feel the rest of wigans season will be like this due to injuries and lack of squad depth, the kids they throw in can't cope week in week out they need to be introduced gradually.

Huddersfield- The only team to pick up maximum points over the easter period. If they can make the home ground a fortress they will be in with a good chance of a top 6 finish, but they need to be consistent and so far apart from the easter period they have been inconsistent.

London- Great at home, rubbish away....what more can you say. Unless their away form improves it could cost them the top 6.

Bradford- A very rocky start to the season, they have lost alot of quality players over previous years (lowes, forshaw, gartner, veikona) and have struggled to replace them. However they have a little too much class in the team for 7th place, they will hit form at the right time.

Salford- Seem to be going very steadily at the moment, with notable good wins at home to warrington and wakefield. Luck robinson is starting to settle in and could be the catalyst for them. One other point is they have only lost at home to the top teams so far (leeds, hull, saints), their ability to take points off their rivals at home consistently could prove decisive.

Warrington- Big things were expected of warrington but after a shaky start they have kick started their season with a win over rivals widnes and a great win over bradford. As always to make the top 6 they will need to be consistent.

Wakefield- Sl's very own Jeckyll and hide team, stunning bradford and leeds one week then getting 70 put past them the next, unless they sort this out they could find they are dragged into a relegation battle.

Widnes- Had a good win over bradford and leigh and pushed hull close, but they just don't seem to have enough quality when compared with their rivals.

Leigh- as above, with a good win at home to london.

My predictions for the final table:

1.leeds
2.Saints
3.Bradford
4.Hull
5.Wigan
6.Huddersfield
7.Warrington
8.Salford
9.London
10.Wakefield
11.Widnes
12.leigh

Welcome aboard!

I think the positions between 3rd and 10th are all up for grabs on form so far. But yeah, agree with much of what you say.

It will be very tight for the final top 6 place with salford, london, wakey, wolves and gaints all having a decent shot at it. Then imo 3rd to 5th is a lottery between bulls, hull and wigan unless something goes seriously wrong with either leeds or saints.

Agreed, I think 6th will be decided by the injury lists.
