yes there it is a simple fix, you hypocritical pools of diarrhea!!

choose your country, then that's it, no switching! But ah, you don't want that do ya, ah, ah?

If you did that, players would more than likely choose Australia with the incentive to play Origin, knowing they'd be locked out otherwise.. Then you would decimate International League even more

This is the kind of stuff that makes we sometimes consider walking away from this great games of ours.

The coach of a nation has just said his nation ranks second to state of origin in importance. Meninga also.

On another slightly related topic, I honestly think origin has jumped the shark. I truly believe origin is 65% hype and 35% quality and on the grand scale of things its in its wane. I believe that it believes its own PR - channel nein spend 3/4 of the year telling origin is the greatest thing on the planet, theyre all brainwashed.

I know i'm in the minority of that view.

Serve up a few more matches like game 2 and the number of people with your opinion will grow.

People actually know what good footy looks like. And what I am seeing on forums lately, it's internationals, something a small few have bothered caring about in the last few decades that gets everyone involved :x

Because its sad and a little pathetic

If you think SOO is going anywhere you fail to understand exactly why its so popular

Aye, I know why it's popular, but you tell me the last ashes series wasn't more nail biting.

Go on, that series seen England lose 3-0, that makes it look bad, pity it wan't the truth tho.

I think you can watch the series on youtube, may I suggest you have a look at a few past games?

Not the point mate, completely irrelevant really

Origin is here to stay because the rivalry is baked in to the supporter base. The quality of the football has never been the driver in its 30+ year history, ever

Its just sad that those on the outside are that jealous that they need to death ride it even though its completely unnecessary.

RL has limited potential growth if the pinnacle of our sport are 3 games played between two states of Australia each year. This is why changes need to be made to allow for the growth of international RL. Our administrators would have to be very short sighted if they believe that Origin can forever be our pinnacle without detriment to the wider game

Wait Australian's want to play for Australia....fancy that. When's Tonga's or PNG's next test? No games players have no option. 3 tests minimum a year & can build squads up.

Yeah so you say but other channels bar fox an nein say otherwise.

So tell me what TV channel I could watch these games:

Fiji v Lebanon
PNG v Tonga.
Or the European Cup.

RL has plenty of other areas it's let itself down before we can blame SOO

SOO is a $100m cash cow it's going no where. Though we lessen the impact of SOO if we have a strong regular test match schedule.

Yeah smartarse, those nations and i'm pretty sure, only one of those nations played the game back then when either of these stations had the rights. Do you even remember 7 or 10 having our game? if not, stfu.

Wanna smack yourself up the side of the head with idiotic responses, or you want all the ppl in the international section to do it for you?

Your call derp!
