Smoke and mirrors

Here's one.

Does anyone really think McInnes has been signed to play lock?

I was thinking about this yesterday when I saw that he wasn’t signed by Morris.

To me the signing has never really fit that well. I would take him, he’s good, but I thought he’d be much more useful at other clubs.

the line that keeps being used is we are trying to set ourselves up for long term success and consistency. Getting rid of arguably our best young player who could play hooker for us for the next 10-12 years for a 27 year old seems a bit short sighted/term.

Huge fan of Braily 1 of the best 9s around, but I can see him being a top 5 halfback in the future 2 if that’s the path he went.

Braily looks comfortable and controlling when he has ended up at first receiver before, great organiser and kicker of the footy

I'll bite and say more for the bench than for a start.
BB has been a part of the emerging Blues for a while and Freddy and co rave about him.
He won't be taking Blaykes seat at the table straight away.

Odd to come across just to bench it.

From Dragons captain to Cronulla bench. Even if temporary it still doesn’t seem his highest and best use in the NRL
