Go the Warriors!!! :D

We've done one of those lame "adopt a country for the RWC" things, but their flag got covered up today in favour of a giant Warriors flag instead.

Plus I managed to piss off two Tigers fans, I know it's cruel and I'll probably pay for it in karma later on, but it's still worth it.

Who else had a great day?

My day was awesome.
I have a couple of rabid Tigers fans in my uni class. The lecturer of this particular class is an ex Warriors coach so it was good fun re-watching the Inu try on the projector and having a couple of laughs at the misery.

^ Lego Man's on the money.

Having said that I think we're all relieved that we managed to get up in the second half, given that we weren't given much of a shake in the first.

I had a Donk's fan trying to give it to the Warriors on Friday, so after we won on Friday I was quietly hoping the Dragons would get up in the other game (not that I have anything against the Bronc's per se.)

Fan bloody tastic.
Everyone here was raving about the All Blacks, and the Aussies in the yawnion.
Everyone here wrote the Warriors off before kick off, so it good to remind them they shouldnt have turned off.
A few of the lads here were ashamed they didnt watch it.

I work with mainly middle aged Australian women in Canberra - only one knows anything, a Raiders fan. Needless to say I need a new job and location.

Despite that, I still had an internal glow at work today, though was disappointed by the lack of interesting post weekend analysis in the media:

Benji's SMH article was poo.
Some media articles referred to the Inu try as 'controversial' - way wrong adjective, freakish, lucky, odd perhaps but not controversial.
One muppet in the Daily Telegraph rabbited on about clumsy Inu and his crap hands - the dude has great hands doesn't he...

Looking forward to, but trying not to overhype, next Sat's game...will be there...

As you know, I can't stand rugby or the muppets that run the game and country.

So needless to say the conversation goes something like this today....so how come Richie McCaw, Dan Carter and Mils Muliana didn't play the other night....they had a sore what? a back, knee, hamstring...What a bunch of pussies....Darren Lockyer breaks his cheekbone and gets up off the ground and shortly after kicks the winning field goal to win the game...and after the game said it was a bit sore!, has 3 plates inserted into his cheekbone the following morning and he may be right to play this weekend!!! Don't talk to me about rugby again....
