i think all he needs to do is GATHER A HEAD OF STEAM, and run AT THE GAPS! He seems to get the ball flat footed and just relies on his tree trunk legs to drag defenders.

He was very ordinary yesterday, in about 10 minutes he dropped/gave up posession 3 or 4 times and gave away a penalty. he needs to also learn to go down with the ball occasionally.

Poor Old Solo  . Whenever he touches the ball, Everyone in the Crowd gives it to him.

Much Like Hoppa, I reckon there won't be space for Solo in our '05 squad. Too many other players are showing too much improvement both in the NRL and Premier League to justify them getting walk up starts.

He may go through the same fitness and training programme that Hoppa and now Beaver has gone through. IMO he is carrying to much weight and should drop a few kilos to increase his speed.

he needs to follow the one principle. K.I.S.S.! KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID! He is hard runner and usually fairly quick to play the ball. If he hit up like a forward should for a while, the other aspects of his game would massively improve.

The only 2 changes I feel we need at the moment is NBQ  for Peachey/Lennon/Creary, and Solo  Glenn Stewart.

Don't be too quick though to write off his career. You only have to remember back to early last year to remember how good a runner he can be. He did make City v Country last year.

He needs to get a bit deeper and get the ball on the run. Too often he has been given the ball flat footed and gaining little ground. He also needs to put that miracle pass away for a while. At this stage we just need some good hard yards from him!
