Knights have taken out the Harold Mathews title today with a dominant 34-4 win against penrith in the grand final. It's been a pretty good year for us junior wise, SG Ball had a solid season considering they played with a pretty young squad, NYC is obviously killing it and Mats team were the dominant team this year. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come for the club

The future looks bright. Lets hope we get to keep the future Boyd Cordners, Greg Birds, Michael Innis's instead of loosing them like the past.

Someone posted this on Twitter earlier which I found pretty interesting. It's our Matts finals side 10 years ago from 2004.

I counted 7 blokes that played FG. Only two in Mullo and Snowy are still with us now though. Hopefully the good ones from this year's side can really kick on and play with us.

Funny how there was a Matt Cooper in both our winning Matts sides.

Interesting that 4 of the future first graders in those two sides couldn't make the starting teams. Very hard to pick whose going to kick on at that age.

Is the Rabbits no3 that big mouthed idiot who talked up a massive game against someone famous, got dropped and never played again?

Also I count nine future first graders. Fairly sure Gordon and L Taufua both played at least one game?

f**k, that team lineup looks familiar. That was from my peak of Knights interest. I devoured all things Newie in Uni.
