I had a listen to Deliverence and Masters apprentices on their website.
Deliverence was sort of ok in a depressing wrist slitting kind of way
but that Masters apprentices was very unoriginal IMO.
Now I'm sure Hevy Devon will challenge me for that comment but that's how it sounds to me.

I'm not sure what there is too be gained by making more of that music...it all sounds the same.
The vocals are ridiculous.
It's sounds like a monster from a D-grade horror movie.
I can't make out any lyrics at all.
I don't mind the music so much ( it's pretty dark... I can appreciate their ability)
but it sounds the same as 20 other bands getting around...the MA song that is.

On the upside, they all ( all 20 or so band members over the years) have exceptional hair!

Now my old sparring partner, can I recommend a few Opeth tracks to listen to?

First of all, 'To Bid You Farewell'.

Also 'Windowpane'.

And 'The Drapery Falls'.

Like I said, some people don't like heavy vocals and fair enough too. I love them if done well. Opeth though do as many clean vocals as heavy (you picked two of their heavier songs - Deliverance is decent, Master's Apprentices I actually agree with you pretty much).

Glad you can at least appreciate the talent though rather than doing a Half and calling them crap.

Like I said, to each their own.

Anyway back on topic..what is the name of a song by some band, in the chorus lyrics it say's "killing" .
I can't remember the rest ..all I know is when it comes on I think I should remember who this is.
JJJ are playing it a bit lately.
