I thought exactly the same thing when it happened. Will cost him his spot in the final. Wonder if he will hang around for another 4 years to fulfill his 'dream'?

Agree that he is a wasted talent in Union though. His best assets (offload, front on defence) are rarely required, especially when you spend 70% of games sitting on your arse on the bench

well to be honest... i would rather have seen him on the field at Newcastle than on the bench in Auckland.

I agree. Wayne is smarter than your average bear and doesn't need the burden SBW making headlines every week. Besdides, the Knights have a handy team as it is and they don't NEED SBW like some other clubs do...
