Sorry Tigers fan but only one team come tonight to win

Both teams come tonight to play some football. The only problem for your team was that Souths were the only team who come to play to win.

I am a Souths fan and I am a Souths fan who expected to lose big time tonight. What I and every other Souths fan got was one of the Rabbitohs greatest every wins.

But I am not here to gloat about Souths win. I just want to pass on what I thought of your teams effort.

My thought is that your team expected all they had to do is run on to the field and they would win. More often then not teams who have that attitude lose the game.

I have never seen a team play dumber football the what you did tonight. Three incidents come quickly to mind.

The first being when one of your players tried to knock a potential 40/20 kick back in to the field of play. Sometimes can be a wise thing to do but tonight when he done it there were aonly Souths players around and a try was scored. A better option would have been to take the scrum and hope to defend your line.

Then we had Tuqiri and Ryan (I think) both going for a kick. Of course this led to a knock on right on your line.

But the dumbest mistake your team made on the night was when you went for penalty goal on our 20 metre line. Yes it gave you a 12 point lead, but if you scored a try you would have had a 16 point lead and most likely winning lead.

I really did expect the Tigers to win tonight. Iam not sure who is in more shock, Souths fans because of the win or Wests fans for losing?

I can assure you us at WT are not in shock we lost, pissed of yes but not is shock. We are the new north sydney and if there is a way to lose we will. Anyway as ive said in another post here is that the right result was acheived at the end of the night. We had a near fullside against a side with a massive injury toll and we still couldnt put you's away. I think our effort was ok , but our skill level has been reduced to 7 year olds playing badly and our game plan was f**king stupid to put it mildly. I dont mind losing but to be honest i hate losing to Soufs, especialy at the death like that ( AGAIN ) I wished you had a full side so we didnt have to even get close and have to feel so pissed off and embarrassed. I dont mean to downplay your win but if we played properly( AND COACHED PROPERLY ) we would have won easily.

Good luck to you guys, enjoy the new bit of hope we have given you.

At 30-16 I turned to my mate and said "I bet we lose this."

I am not in shock, only we could lose a game like this and we did.

DC, your post is spot on. Sadly the only way we will get change is if we don't make the finals, we will finally see the back of Sheens.

My two cents is this.....

The Tigers haven't been the tigers since Tim Moltzen went down. Prior to that, I had them winning the comp. Following that, they've been disorganised. They've been flat out lucky to have had the draw they've had. they've beaten sides with big injuries or down on form, which has put them where they are.

There's also some real disharmony in their side.....I can't put my finger on it, but there's something about the team that makes me think that it's eating itself from the inside out....Farah's been really niggly of late, and it's detracted from his game. Benji's out of form, and clearly not thinking straight....There's a real issue in there....I just can't pick it.....It may have something to do with Royce Simmonds leaving soon.........

If they can sort it out, you'll be far better for it next year.....But as for this year, I'm sorry but even if you do make the finals (which I think is likely, given that souths and parramatta for very different reasons will fall just short) it'll be a brief cameo at best....

missing taylor, burgess, champion, luke stuart etc etc souths had no business winning this game.

the tigers outside backs are a shambles when it comes to defence and high ball.

and then that thing at the end.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

theres no way this team deserves to be in the running. but they are because the comp is so crap.

my sharks would be 2-21 in a stronger year (we still always beat parra)
