i am apoligising for posting a thread bagging finch at hooker. he did have a shocker against the rabbits but since then he has really performed well at hooker. i think he and wing will have to fight for the starting position but even if we put wing in the centres...but soliola performed great against the raiders and cross is always good...but if injuries were to happen to either of the centres i think wing should be slotted in...he played centre for australia why not the roosters

soward is the best thing that happened to the roosters since fittler

Beating the raiders by 1000 is not going to change many FOFF supporters.
Wing is the best choice at hooker, but unfortunately for Wing, he has been labeled a great utility player....thats up there with being named captain of reserve grade (as you will never make 1st grade)

I think you underestimate the value of the interchange bench. The strength of the interchange bench and how it is used often determines the chances of the team.

I keep saying League these days is no longer 13 players plus 4 reserves. It is a 17 man team and even if you are in the starting lineup you are probably only on for 20 minutes before being replaced by a bench player. Wing is at his most destructive best when he comes on when the opposition forwards are starting to tire and he creates havoc with his quick runs from dummy half. Would he be so effective if he started?

That's why I don't understand why there are certain players that hate starting from the bench. The interchange is just as important as the starting 13.

Look at players like Dean Widders for Parra. His impact coming off the bench is enormous. I'm sure he wouldn't have the same impact if he started a match.

I'm sure there's a plethora of players for the roosters in Premier League & Jersey Flegg that would love the chance to play first grade - even if it meant a stint on the bench.

Perhaps Wing needs a little reminder every now and then of his importance as a utility player.

Comrade Finchnikov was the players player of the match against Souths - He also sparked the Roosters revival with his try and his vision in the last try was extraordinary.

Leave Comrade Finchnikov as starting hooker for the Roosters with Comrade Wing coming on when the opposition starts to tire or make their changes as their new players will take some time to get used to the flow of the game especially in defence.

This is true, but the way ricky used the bench showed me a little bit on who he preferred..and this is buck teeth finch.

the thing is, the roosters are small, so to have finch and wing is a waste of a bench spot, should get another big man.

We have Wing anf Le strange, yet this dropkick still gets picked. The Code is the worst footballer since Vautin.

Obviously you haven;t been watching premier league as the frog's form hasn't been too flash.

What Commissar Stuart needs to do is not have all 3 (Soward/Finch/Wing) on the field at the same time for obviously defence reason's.- Soward can be rotated with both Finch and Wing at half who both will also be rotated at hooker.

Comrade Finch was the players player of the match against the high risers (souths) - Comrades Wing's day's as a centre are long gone- If there were to be an injury Comrade Flannery would slot in to centre and or one of the Comrade Paea's

Moron, whos going to attack with these three all rooted from tackling big blokes?

You know how you recently discovered you had a head? Please lose it back up the passage it fell out of.
