We just had too much, speed, skill and strength last night. Bowen had a field day against a woeful defensive outfit. Also where di Meredith come from he was easily your best last night.

Souths Injury list:
Stringer
Kearney
Geddes
Harrison
Stuart
Hookey
Smith
Craigie
Hart
Fletcher (suspended)
Puletua
Peters
Roberts
Hinson
Lolohea
Alley-Tovio
Rigon

You take 17 players out of the Cowboys squad and see how well you do.

Look at how other top 4 teams would go with 5 or more out.

Roosters- Wing, Fittler, minnichelo, morley , ricketson
Bris- tallis, lockyer, berrigan, tate, webke etc
knights- johns, parsons, tahu, odavis, kennedy.

I think theyd be struggling to make the 8 without them. Thats just the best 5. I could argue we had our best 7 out before the game ended. Half the team out there were playing with injury. Kingling, get some perspective would you. Anyone would have flogged us under these circumstances.

Your victory against us in round 3 to the score of 27-20 was far superior the victory to last night.

Did you ever think that part of the reason we are last in the comp is because of the abysmal injury toll I just showed you. If we had of fielded our strongest team all year, I assure you we would not be last. Its typical fans from other clubs which are clueless to the souths situation week in week out that make uneducated comments like the above one. When we have our strongest team on the field, there isn't a team in the comp we can't go toe to toe with. Wake up mate. The Cowboys aren't as good as you make them out to be.

as nwr said, if souths didnt have the injuries we would be a whole lot higher up the ladder - however, injuries are a part of league and every team has them.

Its just that souths dont have the depth that some teams do.
But hopefully that will change next year.
